St. Johns Mint Festival City

St. Johns, which is known as the mint festival city, is looking for a PR firm to advise it on public communications and marketing techniques.

Founded in 1856, the Michigan city wants to expand its public communications to provide “clear, consistent and professional information” for residents, businesses and visitors, according to its RFP.

The goal is to “become a well-known destination site that attracts visitors and new residents” by “maximizing the communications process and promoting the city as a modern well-kept community that puts its residents first.”

The St. Johns' Mint Festival is slated for Aug. 13-15. It will feature a carnival, arts & crafts, flea market, petting zoo, kickball, bocce ball, three-on-three basketball tournament and a pageant queen competition.

Responses to the RFP are due July 25. They should be emailed to St. Johns city clerk Mindy Seavey at [email protected].
