Amarillo, Texas’ Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport is seeking proposals from agencies that can plan, create and manage a marketing and advertising campaign.

The public airport, which is named after NASA astronaut and Amarillo native Rick Husband and is the largest airport in the Texas Panhandle, is looking for an agency that can plan, create and manage a comprehensive digital campaign that improves the traveling public’s impressions and educates them on the benefits of flying to or from the airport.

Scope of work includes: Developing new marketing campaign concepts that deliver a consistent and unified message across various platforms; creating a long-term content development strategy to bolster AMA’s web presence; providing a media marketing strategy for running commercial assets on local TV stations within the greater Amarillo area; and designing out-of-home marketing efforts in target markets.

The contract will run for a 12-month period, beginning October 1,2021 and ending September 30, 2022. The contract may be extended for two additional two-year periods.
