New Rochelle

New Rochelle is seeking marketing communications partners as it seeks to enhance its brand in the post-COVID-19 world.

The Westchester County city is in the midst of a transformation (e.g., 7K residential units and 32 approved projects) that is geared to the paradigm shift due to the pandemic in the way people experience cities, according to the RFP.

The city believes it is “positioned to pivot the focus of its redevelopment efforts to the quality of life aspect of the downtown.”

The redevelopment thrust is paying particular attention to the global growth of the ESG principles and investment.

New Rochelle is committed to developing a “walkable” urban core to alleviate the environmental impacts of human activity on the climate.

It is in the process of updating policies related to climate justice and resilience, local hiring/contracting and youth job opportunities.

New Rochelle plans to hire at least three firms to handle marketing, digital content, graphic design, website hosting/maintenance and social media management for the ultimate goal of bolstering awareness of its vibrant downtown to attract new, prospective and current residents.
