City of Sacramento

Sacramento is looking for a firm that can develop a multimedia marketing and public awareness campaign that targets unvaccinated residents in an effort to boost COVID-19 vaccination rates in the city.

The Golden State’s capital city is seeking a communications, public affairs and/or PR/marketing/advertising firm that can identify specific populations within Sacramento that are unvaccinated, perform research to gain an understanding of their hesitancy and create a public awareness campaign and design materials (including both traditional and digital advertising) that targets these unvaccinated residents and helps persuade them to get a shot.

Sacramento’s total budget for the campaign, which would run from fall 2021 until spring 2022, is $1 million.

Bids are due by 3 p.m. (PST) on Oct. 15. The RFP should be submitted through the city’s online procurement portal: https://planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=15300
