Mountain Village

Mountain Village, which is situated in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains and encompasses the Telluride Ski and Golf facility, is seeking a firm to handle branding and destination marketing services.

Situated at 9,545 feet, Mountain Village features a three-stage gondola transportation system that connects with Telluride.

Incorporated in 1995, Mountain Village’s founders “envisioned a European-style ski-in/ski-out, pedestrian-friendly destination resort," according to its RFP. Mountain Village “is innately spectacular, beautifully orchestrated and planned, and overflowing with style, charm and sophistication."

The communications partner will work closely with town staff to market Mountain Village to targeted audiences and key demographics.

The general marketing objective is to forge a marketing program that “informs and promotes responsible tourism for identified target markets, promotes outdoor recreation activities, the area’s numerous and diverse natural resources, dining and retail opportunities, and Mountain Village’s unique events and festivals."

Mountain Village anticipates awarding a multi-year contract.

Proposals are due Nov. 23. They go to Zoe Dohnal, business development and sustainability director, at [email protected].
