The South Dakota Department of Tourism is requesting proposals from agencies that can provide professional tourism marketing services.  

The Mount Rushmore State is looking for an agency that can develop and implement a comprehensive marketing program to promote South Dakota as a travel destination to regional, national and international markets. 

Scope of the work includes developing and executing a comprehensive regional, national and international public relations strategy; crafting media relations pitches to television, print, digital and online media outlets; creating both traditional and digital marketing campaigns; developing social media outreach strategies and campaigns; creation of an email marketing program; website management and maintenance; and developing and executing brand activation events.

Terms of the contract call for three years, beginning on July 1 2022 and ending June 30, 2025, with the possibility of extension for up to two additional years for a total period of five years.

All bidding agencies should submit one original and 10 identical hard copies of their proposals, in an envelope must be marked with the RFP Number (RFP: #2475) and Title ("South Dakota Department of Tourism Request for Proposals for Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations Services").
