New Mexico wants to hire a firm to run a public education campaign to bolster awareness of its judicial performance evaluation program.
Established in 1997, JPEC is designed to improve the productivity/effectiveness of New Mexico’s judges and provide useful information to voters about justices standing for re-election.
New Mexico’s administrative office of the courts has historically publicized the JPEC via paid advertising, PSAs and social media.
It is looking to expand that outreach by hiring a firm to design and implement a comprehensive communications program aimed at populations impacted by JPEC’s narratives/recommendations.
The state also wants to educate New Mexicans about the mission and values of JPEC.
The selected firm will create a tracking plan, so results and return on investment can be assessed and quantified.
The one-year contract will begin July 1. Terms may be extended through June 30, 2026.
Proposals are due Feb. 28. They go to: [email protected].
