Osage

The Osage Nation, a federally recognized Native American government, wants to hire a firm for a branding project.

Most of the Osage people live on a reservation in Oklahoma that stretches from north of Tulsa to the Kansas state line.

The Osages, according to an RFP, are "a nation by way of a group of people defined by preservation of culture through history, language, tradition and land.”

The Osage Nation wants a branding campaign to serve its social marketing practices to “influence behaviors that benefit individuals and communities for the greater social good.”

The selected firm is required to consent to the laws of the Osage Nation and its trial court for any disputes arising from the contract.

The branding push will begin in March and run through the rest of the year.
