Oregon

Oregon’s Dept. of Land Conservation and Development is looking for a consultant to review its diversity, equity and inclusion practices and offer recommendations to promote racial equity over the next two to three years.

DLCD’s mission is to manage urban growth; protect farmland, forests and coastal areas; and provide safe and liveable communities.

The Department wants a firm to analyze its DEI action plan and recommend best practices in the areas of employee recruitment, hiring and retention.

The firm will train staff on general topics of 1) what is DEI and racial equity in the context of land use planning programs; 2) identifying, avoiding, and managing implicit bias and 3) avoiding and managing microaggressions.

Proposals are due Feb. 25 at OregonBuys.gov.
