Bucks County

Bucks County, which has 630K people living about 25 miles from Philadelphia, wants a firm to run a workforce outreach campaign that targets job seekers and employers.

The campaign will promote the PA CareerLink Bucks County Toolkit, Reentry Video Collection and Career Pathways Awareness projects.

The Bucks County Workforce Development Board says the COVID-19 pandemic has made it more difficult to recruit students into industry skills programs.

It wants to pitch the benefits of pre-apprenticeship programs and opportunities in manufacturing that lead to high-paying careers in fast-growing industrial segments.

“Bringing this message to people is crucial in helping employers find the next-generation of workers and enabling residents to gain access to training necessary to find satisfying careers with family-sustaining wages,” according to the RFP.

Responses are due March 14 at [email protected].
