Mecklenberg

Mecklenburg County, which includes the city of Charlotte, is looking for communications and marketing support for its public health department.

It plans to hire one or more firms to promote 1) a healthy eating and physical activities campaign targeted at low-income Black and Hispanic people; 2) tobacco awareness cessation aimed at the African-American community; 3) COVID-19 vaccination and education push focused on Black and Hispanic households in areas with lower vaccinations rates, and 4) health communications centered on Hispanic adults to inform them of the health department’s services in the area of communicable diseases and chronic disease management and prevention.

The Public Health department plans to award one-year contracts with an option to renew for an additional year.
