Michigan’s Monroe County wants pitches for a public educational campaign to support messaging around the safe, legal and responsible use of medical marijuana.

The effort will stress the importance of preventing youth access to marijuana and reducing the use among high-risk populations.

It will highlight the need for safe storage of weed and play up the dangers of driving while under its influence.

Monroe County, which is situated in the southeast corner of the Wolverine State bordering Ohio, envisions a communications push composed of digital/social advertising, short videos and placement management.

The campaign will kick off in May and run through July. It is budgeted at $25K.
