Montclair State University is seeking proposals from marketing firms.

MSU, which has 21,000 graduate and undergraduate students located on campuses in New Jersey's Passaic and Essex counties, is about 14 miles from New York City.

The public research university’s communications and marketing team is looking for a media buying and marketing services provider with expertise in higher education student recruitment, as well as marketing technology, data tracking, analytics and reporting, that can generate leads to help the university meet its application and enrollment goals for undergraduate first-year and transfer students, graduate programs and certificates as well as other special programs and initiatives.

Scope of the work includes developing and implementing digital and traditional paid advertising plans, providing recommendations on new marketing trends and techniques, developing and implementing creative material and copy, providing reports and tracking of media performance and providing support for landing pages and capturing leads.

Terms of the contract call for a three-year commitment, beginning in September. The contract may be extended for up to two one-year periods.

All bidding agencies should submit one original bid proposal—marked “Original”—as well as four digital copies on USB flash drives marked with the bidder’s name and the RFP number. The envelope should be marked with the bid proposal title (Media Buying and Marketing Services) and number (#1523).
