The University of Utah is requesting proposals from public relations agencies.

The Salt Lake City-based public research university is looking for a full-service agency specializing in marketing, creative design and crisis communications services that can strengthen the university’s reputation and support its brand amongst key local and national stakeholders.

Scope of the work includes producing press releases, blogs, op-eds and faculty/staff/student/patient stories for websites and marketing materials; creating releases, pitches, media plans and media relations work for media outlets as well higher-education trades; providing graphic design, illustration, photography, video production/filming/editing, logo creation and brand management services; and offering strategic and tactical communications support during issues and crises.

The contract period calls for a commitment of five years.

Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. (MT) on July 14 and should be submitted electronically through the Periscope S2G bid notification service.
