The Palm Beach County Housing Authority, the agency that provides affordable housing stock to low-income families through various rental assistance programs, is looking for an agency that can provide communications, marketing and media relations services.

PBCHA needs an agency that can develop and implement communications and public relations strategies that increase the public's awareness of its activities and initiatives; enhance its image among key stakeholders; and maximize media opportunities in local, state and national media markets.

Scope of the work includes strategic brand development; developing internal and external communication and messaging campaign plans; developing new logo and branding items; drafting press releases and other media relations work; managing social media content; developing marketing materials, pictures and press clippings; drafting CEO speeches for special events; preparing presentation materials to stakeholders; assigning a liaison and central point of contact for client engagement; providing strategies and processes for crisis communications on an as-needed basis; providing monthly status reports; and other marketing and communication services as required.

The contract period calls for a two-year commitment with the option of three additional one-year renewals.

Bidding agencies should enclose one original and five copies of each proposal, as well as one digital copy on a flash drive or CD. Proposals should be clearly marked "Request for Proposal for Communications/Marketing/Media Relations Firm," as well as the solicitation number (PBCHA-RFP-2022-15) and the responder's name, address and contact information.
