Yachats

Yachats, a village on the Pacific coast in Oregon’s Lincoln County, is looking for tourism promotion services and marketing.

In addition to a dramatic coastline and ocean beaches, Yachats offers extensive parks and trails; lodging, dining, shopping, spa and meeting facilities; a busy events calendar; and easy US 101 access to neighboring communities.

The scope of work will include planning and marketing off-season events, maintaining the Discover Yachats website, creating marketing content, social media marketing and search engine marketing with Google.

The agreement is for one year, with the option of up to two additional two-year terms. The fiscal-year budget for the contract is no more than $35,000.

Proposals, which should include a cover letter and the name and qualifications of the individuals who will provide the requested services, are due Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. PT. Two hard copies of the proposal, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Confidential: City of Yachats Tourism Services Proposal, should be mailed to:
