The Wildwoods, a group of five communities whose beaches stretch across Cape May County along the southern New Jersey coast, is requesting proposals from public relations agencies that can provide strategic counsel and communications services.
The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority, the marketing organization that promotes the area as a family vacation destination, is seeking an agency that can provide public relations services for both the tourism authority as well as the Wildwoods Convention Center.
GWTIDA specifically wants an agency that can provide branding support as well as execute an awareness campaign through third-party endorsements in targeted media markets in an effort to reach key audiences and boost broader market appeal of the Wildwoods as a premier travel destination.
Scope of the work includes creating messaging; developing and executing a public relations campaign aimed at vacationers and day-trippers; target specific markets for broader appeal and awareness; soliciting awards and accolades from well-known and respected travel and tourism entities, including “best of” lists; providing crisis management support.
Terms of the contract call for a five-year commitment, beginning January 1, 2023, and running until December 31, 2027.
