Visit Shenandoah County

Shenandoah County, Virginia, is requesting proposals from firms that can provide digital marketing services.

The county, which consists of six incorporated towns and several smaller communities within Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, about 90 miles west of Washington, D.C, is searching for an agency that can provide digital marketing services for its Office of Tourism & Economic Development. Shenandoah County seeks an agency that can increase brand awareness of the county as a visitor destination, stimulate overnight stays, increase visitor spending and produce a substantial economic impact for its businesses.

Scope of the work includes promoting and encouraging visitation to Shenandoah County; managing Facebook, Instagram and other recommended social media platform ad campaigns; creating, running and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns; optimizing social and digital campaigns on a regular basis; creating social ads to promote existing and new video content; creating ads for retargeting previous website visitors; and media purchasing.
