DelDOT

Delaware’s Department of Transportation wants proposals for public outreach and education campaigns surrounding the impact of stormwater pollution on municipal sewer systems.

Topics may include water conservation, chemical application on lawns/landscaping, proper car wash procedures, proper disposal of paint and other hazardous household waste, recycling and trash pickup and disposal of pet waste.

The firm will conduct events and develop content on the impacts of stormwater pollutant discharges on waterbodies for newsletters, social/earned/paid media and public service announcements.

DelDOT’s selected partner will create programs with clear goals and objectives that are targeted at specific audiences.

The Department plans to issue a three-year contract with two possible one-year extensions. Payment will be on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis.

Proposals are due Sept. 15.
