Calstart

CALSTART needs marketing and communications project management support for California’s hybrid and zero-emission truck and bus voucher incentive project.

The purpose of the $100K campaign is to encourage fleets to sign up for a certification plan that designates a vehicle as a zero-emission one.

CALSTART connects fleets and owners/drivers with point-of sale discounts to incentivize the rapid deployment of advanced technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the harmful particulate matter that has created a health crisis in  disadvantaged areas and for families living near heavily-trafficked truck corridors and ports.

The priority areas for the marketing plan includes the Ports of Long Beach, Los Angeles, Stockton, and Oakland; freight corridors in the Inland Empire and San Joaquin Valley; and pollution overburdened communities such as Modesto and the San Francisco Bay region..

Responses are due Sept. 16. They go to Shane Glaseman, CALSTART communications manager, at [email protected].
