The Montana University System wants to enroll a marketing services partner to increase participation in its “Achieve Montana” qualified tuition program.
The 529 Plan provides college savings vehicles to help families specifically save for higher education expenses and avoid incurring debt in order to send their children to college.
There were about 9K Achieve Montana accounts at year-end 2021 with total assets of $200M.
The selected firm will develop a comprehensive marketing plan and conduct public outreach targeted to families at all income levels that “have higher education dreams for their children,” according to the RFP.
It “will secure relationships with targeted media, organizations and/or audiences that can lead to informational seminars or other outreach opportunities.”
Montana plans to offer a contract from Jan. 1, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2026.
Responses are due Sept. 15.
