Carson City, Nevada is looking for a public relations agency of record.

The Silver State capital, which sits along the California border, counts a population of about 60,000. Carson City is a consolidated municipality, or an independent city that doesn’t belong to any county.

The city’s destination marketing organization, the Carson City Culture & Tourism Authority, is seeking to retain the services of an agency that can develop and coordinate creative communications content as well as maintain and develop web and digital content for the city.

Scope of the work includes: public relations (developing and pitching storylines and press releases and fact sheets to the media as well as coordinating media interviews and press conferences); creating tourism‐driven content that’s appealing to international audiences and also aligns with the CTA’s visuals, voice, missioN and market preferences; content creation (photography, video, audio, graphic design, short/long articles, polls/surveys, interviews, research, newsletters and PSA’s); developing and enhancing the Carson City Culture & Tourism Authority’s websites; assessing the CTA’s existing email platform and e-marketing messaging strategies; and account management and reporting.

Terms of the contract call for a four-year commitment, beginning on July 1.
