Ascension

Ascension Parish, which is part of Louisiana’s Cajun Country, is looking for a partner to handle community development and outreach services.

Part of the Baton Rouge metropolitan area, AP has a population in the 125K range. Gonzales, which is AP’s largest city, prides itself as the “jambalaya capital of the world.”

The parish may hire more than one communications partner and will assign task orders for various services on an as-needed basis.

The early childhood development center in Donaldsville, the parish seat, and the Ascension Cradle to Career Foundation are among the initiatives that AP wants to promote. 

It also wants a firm to plan, coordinate and facilitate a 2023 “listening tour” to solicit community feedback on parish-wide initiatives.

The parish will issue one-year contract(s) with options to renew for two one-year periods.
