SFHC

The San Francisco Human Rights Commission is seeking proposals to provide PR, communications, advertising and media services on an as-needed basis to support its various initiatives.

The Commission's mandate is to advocate for human and civil rights and work in service of anti-discrimination laws to further racial solidarity, equity and healing.

It is working to develop racial equity training programs in each of the city government’s 65 departments.

The SFHRC plans to award multiple contracts worth a total $150K.

Bidders are encouraged—when applicable and practical—to engage subcontractors that reflect SF’s diversity and residents of its most disadvantaged communities.

That includes Bayview/Hunters Point, Chinatown, Mission, South of Market, Tenderloin, Visitacion Valley and Western Addition neighborhoods, according to the RFP.

The SFHRC plans to issue one-year contracts and retain the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Responses are due March 1. Bidders must register at SF’s supplier portal.
