Minnesota wants to hire a firm to run a communications, marketing and public engagement campaign for its Help Me Connect electronic navigator that connects expectant families and those with children up to eight years old to services that promote well-being and child development.

Launched in May 2021, HMC has more than 12K listings of nonprofits and government agencies that provide prenatal, early childhood, education, safety and family support programs. It especially aims at those suffering from racial, economic and geographic disparities.

More than 145K unique visitors have explored HMC since its debut. The top queries are for autism, transportation, housing, diapers and food.

Minnesota wants a partner to increase awareness of and build traffic to HMC by highlighting the “value and benefits of early childhood development and social emotional screening and available follow-up resources,” according to the RFP.

The North Star State plans to issue a contract that will run through 2023 with options to renew for two additional one-year periods.

Responses are due March 7 at Minnesota’s electronic portal.
