DeSoto County, Mississippi is requesting quotations from public relations agencies.

DeSoto County Tourism, the destination marketing organization for the northwest Mississippi county, is looking for an agency that can provide creative strategy, destination marketing and messaging, ad creation, design and placement services (print and digital) in an effort to reach prospective travelers in its key market, which includes residents living within a five-to-six-hour drive of DeSoto County.

Part of the Memphis metropolitan area, DeSoto County is the third-most populous county in The Magnolia State.

Scope of the work includes updating, publishing and printing destination guides, brochures, sales kits and other marketing materials; creating a portfolio of new marketing assets (including photos, videos and testimonials); creating campaigns for niche visitor segments based on behavior and travel trends (road trips, girlfriend getaways, pet-friendly, etc.); developing campaigns that attract visitors to each of DCT’s defined markets; executing digital, print, broadcast and social media marketing campaigns through location and behavioral targeting; programmatic ad buying; creating printed direct mailing material; updating and/or adding signage and kiosks at main attractions and hotels; and creating and placing billboard ads in key visitor markets.

Terms of the contract run for two years.
