Washington Law

The University of Washington wants quotes for a communications campaign to boost the reputation, rankings and visibility of its law school.

The UW School of Law, which is in Seattle, appointed Tamara Lawson as dean in August. She joined from St. Thomas University’s College of Law in Miami.

She wants to make the law school known as having the greatest impact on the state and to “close the perception vs. reality gap by moving people from ‘unaware of’ or ‘indifferent’ to ‘familiar with’ and ‘having deep pride in’ the UW School of Law through a compelling and distinct point of view,” according to the RFQ.

The document’s scope of work covers communications strategy support, thought leadership, executive communications, media relations, reputation building, social media and industry research.

UW School of Law wants to hear from firms that have developed an “effective, leadership-endorsed brand architecture and strategy” for a university or philanthropic group and have handled “projects with a profound commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Quotes are due March 31. They go to Dawn Lake, senior contracts manager, procurement services department, at [email protected].
