The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority has extended the deadline to respond to its RFP for a multicultural marketing shop.

The deadline has moved from March 31 to April 10.

The selected firm will help the Authority implement in Vision 2028 strategic plan.

The RFP notes that the task of communicating with the public about its services is made more complex by the diversity of people who use those services.

“The region’s socioeconomic and cultural diversity creates challenges to ensuring that the transportation system is inclusive and responsive to the needs of all people in LA County.”

LACMTA plans to award the multicultural marketing contract on Aug. 1 to run until Sept. 30, 2025. There will be one two-year option.
