Ramsey County (MN) seeks a firm to establish a brand identity and marketing strategy for a four mile stretch of road that connects White Bear Lake, Vadnais Heights and Gem Lake.

The Country Road E Corridor “has an auto-oriented, suburban environment and is seen more as an area to ‘pass through’ rather than being a desirable place to be,” according to its RFP.

The Corridor serves as a major access to Interstate 35E and US Highway 61.

Given the prominence that the Corridor has on the economic vitality of the cities, the road has attracted investments to enhance the quality of life in the area.

The selected firm will develop messaging, brand voice, wayfaring signage and programming for the Corridor in conjunction with the area’s residents, businesses, agricultural and industrial stakeholders,

Proposals are due Dec. 15 for the project that is budgeted at $30K. They go to Housing & Economic Development Coordinator Tracy Shimek.
