The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams, Inc. is soliciting proposals from agencies providing public relations services.
FIRST is a membership-based association specializing in the information security and incident response fields. The nonprofit, which counts more than 650 member teams from more than 100 countries, aspires to bring together incident response and security teams from every country across the world to ensure a safe Internet for all.
FIRST is looking for an agency that can develop and propose a PR plan. Scope of the work includes: developing and maintaining a list of key messages to be used to train FIRST media representatives and help drive media engagement; engaging with media outlets on opportunities to deliver FIRST’s goals, mission and initiatives; maintaining a list of media outlets (with both a global reach as well as regional reach in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, the Americas and the Caribbean and Africa); receiving and responding to media inquiries; proposing and implementing a social media action plan (which includes authoring or proposing of social media posts and responding or proposing responses to social media inquiries); and coordinating with FIRST on event-specific social media posts.
Terms of the contract call for a commitment of two and a half years, commencing on January 1st, 2024 and completing September 30th, 2026.
