Hunterdon County

Hunterdon County, New Jersey is soliciting proposals from agencies that can provide a comprehensive tourism marketing campaign.

The western Central Jersey county, whose county seat is the borough of Flemington and largest city is Raritan Township, counts a population of about 130,000.

Hunterdon County is looking for an agency that can promote the county’s tourism brand and raise awareness of Hunterdon County as a captivating agritourism destination.

Scope of the work includes handling traditional PR work (writing blogs and press releases, coordinating visits with travel writers and influencers, coordinating press release and press coverage efforts, newsletters and e-blasts, etc.); developing a social media strategy; regularly updating and maintaining Hunterdon County’s tourism website; designing and creating promotional materials; developing promotional packages for the purposes of attracting more followers and promoting individual tourism destinations; and attending regular meetings and communications with economic development staff.

The project calls for a ten-month timeline, beginning in February 2024 and ending in December.
