Palisade, Colorado is seeking proposals from agencies providing tourism marketing and support services.

The Mesa County town, which is part of the Grand Junction Metropolitan Statistical Area, is known for its peach orchards and wine vineyards. The town counts a population of about 3,000.

Palisade is looking for a full‐service marketing and promotions firm that can provide public outreach activities, advertising placement and other related marketing activities for the purpose of attracting visitors and capturing travelers to its tourist and recreational amenities.

Scope of the work includes developing and implementing a four‐season tourism marketing plan; tracking, evaluating and reporting progress to the town and the Tourism Advisory Board; providing strategies and recommendations regarding marketing and promotional opportunities as they arise; and attending regularly scheduled monthly meetings and attend Town Board meetings as requested.

Terms of the contract call for a year-long commitment and comes with a budget of $75,000, which includes media buys and any other promotional costs.

Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. (MST) on Friday, December 29.
