Imprenta Communications Group has tapped Ken Tiratira as senior VP of operations and chief strategy officer.  He will serve on the ethnic marketing and public affairs shop’s executive leadership team and manage day-to-day operations.

Tiratira most recently served as executive VP and COO for the Employers Group where he was responsible for directing and overseeing federal and state advocacy activities.  He has more than a decade of experience working with Arthur Andersen, Gartner, and Northrop Grumman in their state and local government solutions practice.

Tiratira and Imprenta president and CEO Ron Wong worked together for California State Assembly Speaker Willie L. Brown nearly 28 years ago.

“Ken bring a truly unique set of skills and attributes in management, politics, government and consulting, but more importantly we share a passion in creating value that positively impacts and enhances our community.  I am excited that my old friend and colleague, Ken, is joining Imprenta,” Wong said.

Imprenta is the 12th largest PR agency in Los Angeles County with annual billings in excess of $20 million.
