Cision, which went public last month, has brought on two key new hires to bolster global operations.

Michael Piispanen, former Nasdaq VP of corporate solutions, signs on as chief operations officer.  He brings nearly 30 years of experience across consumer, software, fintech, and pharma industries.  He’ll be tasked with global efforts to develop, enhance and optimize business operations.

Pat Galvin takes the post of chief revenue office, U.S.  Most recently, he was VP of general business at InsideSales.com.  His nearly two decades of sales leadership experience in technology will be put to use guiding Cision’s strategy for customer acquisition and retention as well as sales integration efforts.
