Live entertainment production company Mills Entertainment has issued a request for proposal for a PR agency that can develop a publicity campaign launching a theatrical touring production that will feature a nationally recognized TV host and NY Times best-selling author.

The Saratoga Springs, NY-based producer and promoter, which works with artists, agencies, networks, producers and licensors to create alternative and branded entertainment events, said the tour will see the author visiting between 30 and 40 U.S. cities from January through April next year.

Scope of the work includes arranging national, top-level media coverage, including booking interviews and appearances with national print and broadcast outlets; securing local market media coverage; creating and coordinating special events; and identifying additional PR opportunities.

Proposals will be evaluated on demonstrated expertise and qualifications, as well as an understanding of the entertainment industry, a demonstrated understanding of Mills’ goals and objectives and an ability to carry out the work within the proposal budget.

Deadline for submission is October 9. Work for the project is expected to begin in late October and continue through early April 2018.
