Jon Gingerich is senior writer at Proven Media Solutions. He is former senior editor of O'Dwyer's magazine. He additionally teaches creative writing at the Gotham Writer's Workshop in New York City. In 2019, his short story "Thornhope, Indiana" won The Saturday Evening Post's "2020 Great American Fiction Contest." In 2022, his novel, "The Appetite Factory" was published by Turner Publishing Company.

He was previously a reporter for both a daily and a weekly newspaper in Columbus, Ohio.

Jon holds a BA from The Ohio State University and an MFA from The New School.
