Lara Murray-Sterzel is a freelancer at O'Dwyer's. She graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 2025. Her experience includes working first as a Contributing Writer, before joining as a Staff Writer, and ultimately becoming Editor-In-Chief at SUNY Oneonta’s college newspaper, The State Times. Outside of her academics, she's had three summer internships. The first two were at Richner Communications, Inc. for The Herald Community Newspapers and the third was at Newsday Media Group. These experiences continue to fuel her passion for reporting, storytelling, and media.
