Chris Rosello, who has nearly 20 years of federal government experience, has joined HSBC USA as head of public affairs in the Washington office of the London-based financial services giant. He’s in charge of government relations and policy initiatives.
Rosello served as deputy assistant for legislative affairs at the Treasury Dept. and staffer on the House Financial Services Committee. Most recently, he was senior VP-federal government affairs at Wells Fargo.
Mark Steffensen, general counsel of HSBC USA said Rosello’s “experience in the legislative and executive branches as well as the banking industry will serve us well as we engage Congress and the regulatory community.”
HSBC, which has $2.5T in assets, operates in more than 65 countries.
