DC-based kglobal has tapped Noam Gelfond, a 20-year Ketchum veteran, to a dual role at the agency: director of business development and head of west coast operations.
Gelfond, who will be based in Los Angeles, managed accounts at Ketchum, as well as business development initiatives. He has also served as head of communications for United Way of America, and VP at FleishmanHillard.
Gelmond began his career in Detroit in Chrysler's office of the chairman,working on research, PA and editorial services. He moved to Washington to work as press secretary for Congressman Sander Leven and then shifted to Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman's office, where he rose to chief speechwriter.
At kglobal, Gelfond is tasked with spurring the agency’s growth by expanding its operations both on the west coast and in other regions of the country.
