LaVoieHealthScience has been engaged by Life Sciences Corridor, a partnership among five Greater Boston cities—Boston, Braintree, Cambridge, Quincy and Somerville—to leverage content and optimize social media channels on its behalf. Launched by the mayors of those cities, the Corridor is meant to promote the robust life sciences sector in the area. With the goal of attracting business from outside the region as well as retaining businesses within the region, the Corridor also promotes cross collaboration among universities, institutions and businesses. McGrath/Power has been selected by Silver Creek Valley Country Club, a golf and country club in California’s Silicon Valley, to drive word-of-mouth marketing and grow brand awareness via a comprehensive social media program. While this is the third time that the Club has drawn upon McGrath/Power’s expertise to drive community communications efforts, it is the first time Silver Creek has enlisted the agency to provide external communications. “Our past experience with McGrath/Power showed us that the agency has strong roots in the Silicon Valley community and a clear understanding of what our target audiences are looking for in a golf and country club,” said Mike LaBarbera, chairman of the board at Silver Creek.
