Alan Sexton has joined Prudential Financial as VP-head of strategy & communications.
He joins the $1.5T (assets) insurer after a six-year stint at Burson-Marsteller, where he rose to the corporate & financial chair and New York market leader.
The corporate reputation specialist moved to B-M following a two-year stint at Global Strategy Group.
Earlier, he was executive VP/New York PA director at Ogilvy PR and corporate communications manager at The Harbour Group.
During his career, Sexton has handled clients such as Ford Motor, BP, Kraft Foods, Pitney Bowles, American Express, DHL and the Consumer Electronics Assn.
Prudential has 49,000 employess and $3.7T of life insurance in force.
