JPA Health Communications has brought on Sara Dunn and Margaret Bonilla as senior VPs and Lisa Rivero as VP. Dunn, whose experience includes stints at AgencyRx, Area23, DDB, Deustch and Saatchi and Saatchi, will be based in the firm’s DC office. Bonilla joins from Porter Novelli, where she also held the position of senior VP. Rivero comes to JPA from Ogilvy Feinstein Kean Healthcare, where she was account director. Both Bonilla and Rivero will be based in JPA’s Boston office. JPA has also promoted Carolyn Sobczyk and Melissa Zuckerman from account director to VP.

Job and recruiting website Glassdoor has named Samantha Zupan VP of global corporate communications. Zupan, who helped launch Glassdoor in 2008, has also worked for LyonSHARE Communications Group, Singer Associates and Airfoil PR. In her new role, she will oversee Glassdoor’s communications functions, including PR, corporate communications, economics bureau, events, editorial, content and social media. Glassdoor says it gets an average of nearly 50 million unique users to its desktop and mobile applications each month. The company also recently appointed James Cox and chief financial officer and Christian Sutherland-Wong as chief operations officer.

Kahn Media has promoted Cory Burns to VP-accounts and Franco Gutierrez to VP-creative. Burns, who has been with the company for nine years, is responsible for overseeing accounts and leading overall PR and marketing strategy for brands like MagnaFlow, Rolex Watch U.S.A. and Dinan Engineering. Gutierrez has led Kahn Media’s art department for five years.
