Washington D.C.-based public affairs, communication and political advisory shop Sanitas International will represent the Republic of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism for strategic communications and stakeholder outreach efforts in the United States.
Sanitas will initiate a stateside strategic communications and public affairs program in a bid to attract foreign investment and boost tourism in the eastern European nation. The work will include coordinated meetings between U S. government officials, third parties, think tanks and media, according to Foreign Agents Registration Act documents filed in March.
Sanitas performs the work on behalf of Glanz, Inc., which represents Bulgaria’s Ministry of Tourism.
Sanitas founding partner Christopher Harvin, who held senior advisory roles in the Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs and the Office of the Secretary of Defense, signed the agreement.
