FleishmanHillard has hired Matt Groch as senior VP and global lead of data analytics and innovation. Groch joins FH from Mondopoint, a Chicago tech startup where he was the founding chief technology officer. Before launching Mondopoint, he was head of product innovation for Mission Metrics, the data products subsidiary of Mission Measurement, and worked in the research and analytics division at Edelman for nine years. Groch will report to FH global managing director Natasha Kennedy, with whom he worked on a 2005 project pioneering the use of Artificial Intelligence technologies in communications to discover topical trends, messaging, influencers and sentiment in online conversations and traditional media.

KemperLesnik has named Amy Littleton executive vice president, co-managing director. Prior to joining KemperLesnik, Littleton spent close to a decade working in her own PR agency business, as well as in the business marketing and technology practice at Edelman, at Slack and Company, and at General Mills, where she supported a nationwide media tour with the gold-medal-winning U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team. Littleton is also past president of the Public Relations Society of America Chicago. In her new post, Littleton will lead the public relations and content marketing divisions of KemperLesnik, as well as manage the agency in partnership with executive VP, co-managing director Tom Valdiserri.

Chicago-based Emerging Insider Communications has brought on Max Markovstev as COO, with a focus on novel product development. Previously, Markovstev was managing partner at marketing and brand identity firm Purple Orange. Before that, he led strategy and business intelligence for J. Walter Thompson’s digital division in North America and was co-founder of the Leo Burnett Moscow office in charge of Procter and Gamble's Russia business. At Emerging Insider, he is charged with bringing the firm’s line of proprietary AI-driven PR platforms to market internationally, as well as supervising day-to-day operations.
