Hemsworth Communications checks in with Orion Span, the company developing Aurora Station, which is being called the first luxury space hotel. Hemsworth has already begun execution of a comprehensive public relations strategy to create awareness for both Orion Span and Aurora Station. The agency is also pursuing brand partnerships to enhance the Aurora Station experience and will showcase the company’s executive team in various thought leadership campaigns. The Orion Span team will be led Hemsworth NYC managing partner Kate Wark, along with team members from Hemsworth Fort Lauderdale and Hemsworth Atlanta. A 12-day journey to Aurora Station starts at $9.5M per person and deposits are now being accepted online at www.OrionSpan.com, at $80,000 each.
Zapwater Communications has been named U.S. PR agency of record for PrivateFly, a global booking platform for chartering on-demand private jets. Zapwater will be responsible for media relations, events and partnerships for the company within the United States. Its engagement with PrivateFly began in March and will be managed primarily out of Zapwater’s Los Angeles office. In February, PrivateFly became a preferred partner of luxury travel network Virtuoso. Zapwater’s aviation practice currently includes Finnair and World Airways.
