Edelman has appointed Susan Isenberg, currently, the firm’s client lead for Johnson & Johnson, global sector chair, health. She succeeds Kym White, who left the firm in March to join biotech company Vertex. Prior to heading the Johnson & Johnson account, Isenberg was global vice chair for the health sector overseeing the U.S. Before that, she served as managing director for both the health and consumer marketing divisions in Edelman’s New York office. She has also served as a member of the Executive Committee of PhAME (Pharmaceutical Advertising and Marketing Excellence). In her new post, Isenberg will look to develop new health-focused IP, drive new business and client relationship development while building out the firm’s subsector expertise, specifically in health tech and biotech.

PROI Worldwide has appointed three women agency owners—representing the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions—vice-chairs at its Annual Meeting held in Lisbon, Portugal on May 5. All three are now members of PROI Worldwide’s International Board of Directors. Kaija Pohjala, appointed vice-chair, EMEA Region, is managing partner of PROI’s leading Finnish Agency Cocomms. Angela Scaffidi, appointed vice-chair of the APAC Region, is managing partner of Senate SHJ, one of PROI’s Australian agencies. Laura Tomasetti, appointed vice-chair of PROI Worldwide’s Americas Region, is CEO of Boston-based 360PR+. “The new vice-chairs represent some of the most successful agencies within PROI Worldwide,” said Richard Tsang, outgoing Global Chair of PROI.

Greentarget has brought on John Matthew Upton as director of digital strategy & analytics in its Chicago office. Upton comes to Greentarget Ricoh USA, where he led an international team to develop global web analytics strategy for 55 operating companies, including tools, infrastructure design, KPIs, roll-up reporting and communication cadence. Before Ricoh, he was a principal consultant at Codifyd, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in B2B digital commerce. At Greentarget, Upton will be responsible for expanding the agency’s digital capabilities into a full-service offering that encompasses digital strategy, demand generation, social, and web analytics.
