Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications earned media communications duties from hotel management and guest engagement software company Nuvola. CAMC will lead media relations strategies in the North American market, concentrating on business-to-business communications. The agency has also recently signed on to handle the grand opening of The Santa Maria, a hotel and golf resort in Panama, as well as the introduction of Club 1 Hotels, a travel club offering wholesale rates to its members. Its clients also include the Tourism Board of Costa Rica and the Grenada Tourism Authority.

Weill

Geoffrey Weill Associates has added Ovolo Hotels, Classic Journeys and Heckfield Place to its client roster. Weill will be handling PR for Ovolo Hotels’ four Hong Kong hotels, as well as for some of the group’s properties in Australia, including the new Ovolo Inchcolm in Brisbane. The agency has been appointed PR agency of record for Classic Journeys, a tour company that operates 90 itineraries in 42 countries on six continents. Geoffrey Weill is also representing the opening of Heckfield Place, a Georgian Manor estate in Hampshire, England, that dates to the early 1800s and has a biodynamic farm, two walled gardens, a wine cellar and a 67-seat cinema.

Calypso

Calypso, a strategic brand identity agency, has been named creative agency of record for AES Corporation, which manufactures code-compliant wireless alarm communication products and solutions. The agency will be responsible for providing ongoing creative expertise to create a unified brand experience across the company’s platforms. Calypso will design trade show booth collateral, brochures, data sheets and videos, as well as support digital marketing campaigns.
