Bob Haus, public affairs director at the US Energy Dept., is exiting his post next month to take a government relations job with Corteva Agriscience, which is the agriculture division of DowDuPont.
He’s a long-time aide to Energy Secretary Rick Perry, working for the former Texas Governor in Austin and serving as Iowa chairman for the Republican’s presidential run.
Haus also did a six-year stint at DCI Group, was VP/PA at Policy Works and ran his own firm in Des Moines.
DowDupont formed Corteva via the combination of DuPont Pioneer, DuPont Crop Protection and Dow Agrosciences.
It will become a publicly traded company in June 2019.
