Relevance International has launched a digital media arm, Relevance Digital, to create work across a range of social platforms including social media management, online reputation management and other digital services. It will be led by Liz Chambers, who was previously at Creative Media Marketing and Kaplow. Chambers has worked with such luxury and consumer brands as Laura Mercier, Frédéric Fekkai and Shiseido Cosmetics. “A compelling digital strategy is crucial for every brand, no matter the industry,” said Relevance CEO/founder Suzanne Rosnowski. “Creating a digital division was a natural extension of our existing capabilities.”
Cision has added a Social Influencer Discovery module to its Cision Communications Cloud platform. The module is intended to connect communications professionals with social media influencers to gain earned media coverage on social channels. Cision says that by using Social Influencer Discovery, communications teams can get a handle on the most meaningful contributors to specific topics of discussion on social channels, align influencer communications efforts with broader social media initiatives and manage social media and traditional media campaigns as part of one integrated workflow.
Wachsman, a firm that says it has the world’s largest blockchain-focused PR team, is creating a strategy and advisory division. The Strategic Advisory Group is designed to provide blockchain consulting and advisory services to existing clients of Wachman’s, as well as to publicly-traded corporations and privately-held companies . Michael Chang, who most recently served as senior vice president of the technology investment banking group at Jeffries, has been hired to lead the division. Franklin Bi, who will support Chang as associate director, comes to Wachsman from JPMorgan, where he was vice president and blockchain strategy lead for its Blockchain Center of Excellence. “Subject matter expertise in this world-changing technology is extremely valuable, so we’re proud to have attracted some of the brightest minds in blockchain to lead our new Strategic Advisory Group,” said Wachsman CEO David Wachsman.
