BGR Group has recruited Justin Rzepka from the NCTA-the Internet & Television Assn., where he held the VP-government relations post.
Working in BGR's commerce practice, he will focus on technology and telecommunications policy issues.
At NCTA since 2009, Rzepka dealt with broadband access, privacy, piracy, infrastructure, spectrum, Intent of Things and governance issues.
BGR founding partner Haley Barbour called Rzepka a "qualified and talented advocate" who will "hit the ground running and complement our growing commerce practice very well."
